Planning a Visit to Colorado State
When you come to campus, be sure to use the resouces below to make your visit as enjoyable as possible.
Traveling to Campus
- Driving Directions and Parking Information
- Moby Arena: From Interstate 25, exit at Prospect Road (#268). Travel west on Prospect approximately 5 miles to Shields Street (passing major intersections at Timberline Road, Lemay Avenue and College Avenue). At Shields Street, turn right (north) and look for campus on your right. Continue approximately one half mile and turn right (east) on Elizabeth Street into the Moby Arena parking lot, which is open to visitors.
- Parking zones - The Moby Lot is zoned and all spaces (other than short term loading zones) require a permit from 7:30am-4:00 pm Monday through Friday, except for University Holidays. A permit for the Moby lot can be purchased at the automated kiosk located on the SW side of the lot. More information on purchasing a visitor permit is available on parking.colostate.edu.
- Special events may charge for parking in the Moby lot.
- CSU Oval: From Interstate 25, exit at Prospect Road (#268). Travel west on Prospect approximately 4 miles to College Avenue (passing major intersections at Timberline Road and Lemay Avenue). At College Avenue, turn right (north). Continue north approximately three-quarters of a mile to Laurel Street, turn left (west), and travel west one-quarter mile to Howes Street (the first stop light). The CSU Oval is south of the intersection of Laurel and Howes. For parking, continue to the next intersection, Meldrum Street, and turn left into the Lory Student Center parking lot.
- Parking at a meter - The Lory Student Center parking lot includes metered spaces that are enforced from 7:30a.m to 4:00pm., Monday through Friday, except for University Holidays and semester breaks. Visitor permits are not valid at meters during enforced hours - the posted fee must be paid during all enforced hours.
- A zone parking - The "A" zone spaces require a permit to park from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (except for specially signed portions of "A" zones which are enforced until 7:00p.m.), except for University Holidays and semester breaks. Information on purchasing a visitor permit is available on parking.colostate.edu.
- Lory Student Center: From Interstate 25, exit at Prospect Road (#268). Travel west on Prospect approximately 4 miles to College Avenue (passing major intersections at Timberline Road and Lemay Avenue). At College Avenue, turn right (north). Continue north approximately three-quarters of a mile to Laurel Street, turn left (west), and travel west three-quarters of a mile to Meldrum Street (the second stop light), and turn left into the Lory Student Center parking lot.

- Arriving by Air
- Denver International Airport is served by most major airlines which provide nonstop daily service to more than 115 national and international destinations. Many national rental car companies offer service at DIA and ground transportation (shuttle service) to Fort Collins is also available from the main terminal.
- Fort Collins is served by two regional airports: Fort Collins/Loveland Airport & Fort Collins Downtown Airport.

After You Arrive
- Visitors Center - The Colorado State University Visitors Center offers University brochures, campus maps, a courtesy telephone, and use of a computer for access to the CSU Web site, as well as directions to various campus locations and to specific departments for additional information. One-day visitor parking permits are available for purchase. Center hours are 7:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday during the academic year and 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the summer. The center is located at 1301 South College Avenue (corner of Pitkin and College Avenue). Call (970) 491-INFO (4636) for more information.
- University Parking Services - Parking on campus is regulated - visit Parking Services online and get all the information you need prior to your arrival. You can also pick up your guest parking permits and detailed parking information at Green Hall, located on the corner of Loomis/Meridian and Laurel.
